Where to find help

The ones I have listed I have worked with myself so can vouch for them – there are of course many others, but these cover all types of death and have a broad geographical reach. Each of these website will have links to many other organisations too.

BACP - Find a therapist

is part of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and this is a very good place to find a therapist. It lists therapists and their experience, speciality and qualifications throughout the UK. Each therapist sets their own fees. It is worth exploring the whole website if you are uncertain what counselling is.

UKCP

Also has a link to find experienced qualified therapists, who can be found by modality or geographically. Each therapist sets their own fees. Their website explains more about different modalities and training which you may find helpful.
